Twenty Small Steps to Happiness

  1. Push yourself to get up before the rest of the world. This helps you get more done and you can get to watch the sunrise.
  2. Push yourself to fall asleep earlier. The earlier you sleep the earlier you can rise with more energy.
  3. Erase processed food from your diet.
  4. Get into the habit of cooking yourself a beautiful breakfast; sit eat and do nothing else.
  5. Stretch; start by reaching for the sky, then your feet and then your sides. Stretch everything.
  6. Drink 3.0l of water daily.
  7. Write down everything you do or plan to do. Have a to do list nothing is too small to make that list.
  8. Keep your laundry basket empty.
  9. Organize your space and light a beautiful candle.
  10. Have a luxurious shower with your favorite music playing. Wash your hair in the process and just get very clean.
  11. Push yourself to take a walk or exercise. Take your headphones and hit the pavement.
  12. Message old friends, reconnect and plan to meet up and follow through on the plans.
  13. Think about what interests you and find a book about it and read it.
  14. Become the person you would ideally fall in love with.
  15. Compliment people on their looks and bring them happiness.
  16. Challenge yourself not to ridicule people with your words and just build them up with your words.
  17. Walk with a straight posture.
  18. Engage people and have meaningful conversations.
  19. Talk to acquaintances so they become friends.
  20. Dream about the life you will ordinarily like to live if failure was not an option, open your eyes and take small steps to make it happen for you.
