GETTING RID OF EYE BAGS AND DARK CIRCLES

Eye bags refer to the swelling of the skin around the eyes, while dark circles is the darkening of the skin around the eyes. Both of these, can result into having permanent lines and wrinkles around your eyes.

As irrelevant as eye bags and dark circles may seem, they are one of the factors that make us look older than our actual age. The eye is surrounded by a layer of fat which protects the eye. As one starts to age, the layer of skin and muscles that secure that fat loosens up, allowing the fat to slide downward with the help of gravity and finally starts to swell and becomes visible. Also, lack of proper skin care, tiredness, allergies, and high intake of salt can cause eye bags and dark circles. Aging and lack of proper skin care worsen dark circles as the process makes your skin thinner and loses collagen. The blood vessels under the skin are more visible, and as they tend to show through the skin, they make the skin under the eye appear darker; although dark circles can also be hereditary.
